The Abortion Access Fund, Inc., was incorporated in May, 2000 as a Nebraska Non Profit Corporation. AAF, Inc. is applying for its own 501 (c) (3) certification from the IRS; however, in the meantime we have applied to the National Network of Abortion Fund for inclusion in their Group Certification.
The purpose of the fund is to:
- provide a source of low interest, mortgage secured, loans and grants to clinic owners unable to obtain a mortgage from commercial sources;
- provide a source of loans and grants to fund attorney fees for clinics and providers that are being harassed by anti-choice factions of government;
- provide loans and grants, from the interest generated from the above loans, to women in need of assistance to fund abortion services.
- To collect donated airline miles and to provide these to patients and their escorts unable to finance travel to referral clinics.
