In 1993, the Nebraska Legislature enacted a law requiring that all prospective abortion patients receive counseling on abortion, its risks and complications, alternatives to abortions, and agencies that can help you with continuing your pregnancy, if that is what you wish.  This counseling must be provided, directly to the patient, by a physician or a registered nurse, at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

At the end of this verbal clip is a password.  This password changes daily at 12:00 noon Sunday to Friday and at 2pm on Saturday.  In order to complete the online appointment, or to certify that you heard this counseling over the internet you must enter this password.
